Technology Resources
- DesignLab – Visit DesignLab for feedback on digital assignments or for help on personal or professional development projects. DesignLab can help with the conceptual, aesthetic, and overall design of media projects. Located on the 2nd floor of College Library, DesignLab offers digital media consultations for students in both one-on-one and small group settings.
- Software Training for Students (STS) – STS offers free technology training and project support. Choose from technology workshops, one-one-one trainer appointments, or custom technology workshops (for registered student organizations only).
- Lynda.com – Visit Lynda.com for free access to a full library of self-study software tutorials.
- Software – Find no- or low-cost software through DoIT
Showcase Your Work
Are you proud of the work you’ve created and want to show it off to students, faculty, staff, and the community? Here are a few ways to do that:
- Digital Salon brings together students, faculty, and staff to showcase artistic and research-based projects that take digital form or rely heavily on information technology in the production process.
- The annual Undergraduate Symposium showcases undergraduate creativity, achievement, research, service-learning and community-based research from all areas of study at UW-Madison including the humanities, fine arts, biological sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences.
- Wisconsin Union Directorate Student Art Show features artwork from UW-Madison students from all majors and years. Submissions are accepted during the fall semester for display during the spring semester.
