Do More with the Digital Studies Certificate
Created in 2012, the Digital Studies Certificate brings together departments from across campus and allows students to choose from over fifty courses to create their own individualized digital curriculum. Through its course offerings, professors, tools and experiences, the Digital Studies Certificate provides digital skills and technology to students that prepare them for future careers in every industry.
In the rapidly changing digital environment, students must be able to quickly adapt to these changes in order to be successful. Our courses challenge students to critically assess all modes of digital communication and become savvy users of current digital technology. Depending on the coursework chosen, students may learn skills in web design, video editing, photography, database management, illustration, graphic design, and more!
The Digital Studies Certificate is open to all undergraduate students and is comprised of six courses for a total of sixteen credits.
Meet with Amy Schultz to learn more about the certificate requirements, declare, discuss course options, and strategize about how to use your Digital Studies skills to get that internship or job you’re dreaming about!
