There are a variety of courses in the Digital Studies curriculum, located in many departments across campus. Some courses are open to all students, some have prerequisites, and others are open only to students who are declared in that particular major, so be sure to pay attention to the enrollment requisites when choosing courses.
If possible, students are encouraged to start the Digital Studies curriculum by taking a Core course. However, courses may be taken in any order, at any time during the students’ academic career.
Courses that satisfy two area requirements may only be counted once within a students’ requirements for the certificate. For example, a course that counts toward both the F and the P requirement may only be used to satisfy ONE of those requirements.
Though the course list for the certificate is lengthy, not every course is offered every semester. Check the course listing in Guide for information on when each course was last taught.
