Listed below are the courses being offered for the Spring 2021 term. This list is subject to change without notice. Please see the notes at the bottom of the page regarding access to the Life Sciences Communication courses, the Communication Arts advanced production courses, the Journalism 400-level courses, and Marketing 355.

Spring 2021 Course List

Life Sciences Communication Courses

Digital Studies students (who are not also LSC majors) who want to take LSC 314 in spring 2021 need to do the following):

  • If it’s BEFORE January 11: Complete this form. LSC staff will notify you by the end of the day on January 10 if you are able to enroll in the course OR if you need to add yourself to the course waitlist, which will be available to non-LSC majors on January 11.
  • If it’s ON OR AFTER January 11 and the course is fullYou can add yourself to the course waitlist, watch your email closely prior to and at the start of the spring term. You will be notified via email if you are able to add the course.

Note: LSC 332, 350 and 440, and 450 will be open to all students throughout the enrollment period.

Communications Arts Production Courses (CA 465, 467, and 651)

Journalism 400-level courses

Non-Journalism majors may email the course instructor to request permission to enroll. Please provide the instructor with information about your current major(s) and certificate(s), why you want to add the course, and what experience you have with the subject matter. Permission to enroll in the course is at the instructor’s discretion.

Marketing 355

The prerequisite for Marketing 355 is Marketing 300. If you are a Digital Studies student who has taken Marketing 300 and you are NOT a business major, you may fill out this form to get permission to enroll in Marketing 355 for the fall. Filling out this form does not guarantee you a spot in the course, as spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
